Carolla and Daniel Kellison also executive produce. “Crank Yankers” is executive produced by Kimmel and his younger brother Jonathan Kimmel, who also serves as showrunner. “What would we name our baby?” he asks just before she hangs up. She just laughs him off and tries to get off the phone - until Spoonie asks her to have his baby.Īlso Read: 'Crank Yankers' Revival Gets Premiere Date - Watch Trailer Featuring Voices of Tiffany Haddish, Tracy Morgan and More (Video) “Do you have any ‘Do Disturb’ signs?”Īnd later, “What kinda toes you got? Yankerville’s puppet citizens are voiced by celebrities and stand-up comedians who make real calls to real people. r/CrankYankers: This is the subreddit for fans of Adam Carolla & Jimmy Kimmel’s puppet crank call series, Crank Yankers. Repeat the good parts, skip the bad, laugh your ass off.Tracy Morgan voices the silk-robe-wearing puppet Spoonie Luv on Wednesday night’s episode of “Crank Yankers,” but the hotel receptionist he prank calls might be on to him.Ĭreated by Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison, “Crank Yankers” makes all the crank phone calls you wish you’d made when you were a kid. But that’s why the good deity invented the skip button. Sure, there’s some crappy racism (Billy West’s “Moo Shu” character is not funny at all), and no one who likes the “I’ve Got Mail” thing can be trusted. And on her other bit, she gets to say, “If it is nine dildos, tell him we’ll throw in a butt plug.” Brilliant. And Sykes’ complaint to a car shop about someone having left a huge dump in her backseat could have actually made my junior high principal laugh. Lisa Kushell turns in two incredibly sexy performances, especially her turn as a woman getting off on the voice of a nerdy tech support guy. (I think Chappelle is one of the funniest men in America you have to admire the gentle way he charms and flirts with the woman while still scaring the shit out of her). ![]() Some of the best bits on here belong to Morgan’s Spoonie Luv character, ordering flowers for his two-timing girlfriend and trying to get the woman at the shop to write, “You’re nothin’ but a stupid ho,” and Chappelle trying to book space at a Christian bed and breakfast for The Wu-Tang Clan. But I like this, just like I liked some of The Jerky Boys’ stuff, and I still laugh, even without the puppets. If you’re all like real sophisticated and stuff, you won’t like it one bit: bits about homicidal monkeys and blind strippers just aren’t exactly Oscar Wilde. This CD contains 17 different cranks from the show, all of which I’ve seen before, but it’s still really hilarious. Gotta turn it off when the kids are up, of course, with evil-minded Muppets and all, and it’s low-brow as all hell, but it’s still funny. Like the time they called the adult bookstore and the employee Had to pretend to be the pizza place to fool the caller's mom. Featuring the voices of Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, Tracy Morgan, Denis Leary and Jim Florentine. It’s just crank calls, with Muppets acting out the scenarios, but it’s still really funny, because they use some of the funniest people in the entire world: Dave Chappelle, Sarah Silverman, Tracy Morgan, Steven Colbert, Denis Leary, and series masterminds Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Corolla. Crank Yankers was hit or miss, but when it was on, it was fricking hilarious. ![]() Sign In or Sign Up to use this greeting Sign In or Sign Up to rate this greeting 5 comments At 5/1/09 05:00 PM, Anonymous said. didn't mean to upload the whole thing From SoundBytes Listens 26,694 Ratings star star star star star 14 buffered Tags crank yankers This is a free greeting.
